It's not that I don't have anything that I would change. It's that I think the inmate deserves the chance more. For the work they have to do to get there.

...No. It's actually very rarely fun. I do it because I want to help you. Why is that not motivation? Do you know what it feels like to know you genuinely helped someone?

If I am doing this in the service of my own graduation, wouldn't any deed be considered selfish, even if on the surface it's done for selfless reasons?
