I didn't know until I looked to see where you were, to come see Scalpel, and you weren't on my device anymore. Then I suspected. What do you mean by a plan? A plan of what to do now? A plan of what to use your Deal for?

[At the sound of her name, Scalpel yells out a softer, high-pitched version of an alligator bellow. Kikimora snorts]

I KNOW what I'm going to use my deal for. I told Hunter weeks ago.

So stay here for a bit until you figure it out. Nobody is kicking you off the boat. You're a Warden now. Read the ledger. Go into the Enclosure without permission. Take advantage of the Warden Only Swedish Spa. [Okay, the last one is just teasing.] And let me know what your deal is when you want me to request it from the Admiral.

I told Hunter I wanted to replant the great Palistrom forests. Palismen are rare in our world because Belos killed any he could find. It normally takes hundreds of years to mature a forest and I wouldn't even know where to begin.

There's no spa! [Laughing.] But you could do the other stuff! And I think that's a great deal. Maybe you could go there and be its guardian. The Guardian of the Forest. You can live in a cottage and watch over it.

It would seem counterintuitive to do this as recompense for Belos while simultaneously making everyone magically forget.

If you don't want that, I'm proud of you for owning what you did. I just don't want to leave you there in danger. Apparently people there kick you because you're small? I'm just saying your tales of your life there don't fill me with confidence and I'm not opposed to giving you some kind of advantage.

Princess is showing interest in eating Scalpel, so I'm afraid not. At least not until I've had time to properly train them together.

Do you think she's just jealous about the attention you give Scalpel?

She's poor-tempered because of everything that led up to her even BEING here, so jealousy of Scalpel is one of MANY things wrong with her attitude lately.
